ENEWSINDONESIA.COM — A student became a victim of a robbery with a sharp weapon and then raped in a boarding room in Makassar City, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The perpetrator is now being hunted by the police ambush team.
“There are reports of violent theft crimes in which the victim was threatened with a sharp weapon and had sexual intercourse. Then the perpetrator took the victim’s valuables in the form of cash, laptop, and cellphone,” said Head of Jatanras Polrestabes Makassar, Iptu Iqbal Usman, Sunday (6/6/2021).
While in action, the action of the perpetrator, who is known to be a man, was caught on the boarding house’s CCTV. Police have also studied the video footage of the perpetrator and pocketed his identity.
“The perpetrator was caught on CCTV at the crime scene and we studied the CCTV then the characteristics of the perpetrator were known from the CCTV footage and witness statements,” explained Iqbal.
Iqbal added that the alleged perpetrator is the perpetrator who often terrorizes the victim in every action. In addition, the perpetrators are suspected of robbing and having sex with their victims in several boarding houses from a number of police reports received in the past month.
“There have been several cases of theft of weight and theft of violence in several areas in Makassar city in Rappocini, Panakukkang, Tamalanrea, there are several places in Makassar where the victim was also sexually assaulted.
